Head of Theatre

ANNIKA FOSTER

Annika is an actor, producer, and theatre-maker, and Head of Theatre for KD Film Productions.

A USC School of Dramatic Arts graduate with over 30 acting credits, and a long-held love for  for both screen and stage storytelling, she leads the company’s Theatre Division, working with the KD team to develop and produce original live work in the UK and beyond.

Her most recent stage appearance was in Respire Nan at the Atwater Village Theatre in Los Angeles.

A long-standing collaborator with KD Film Productions, her screen credits include The Drawing (release date TBC), Meeting You, Meeting Me (2024), Figure in the Fog (2025), Essence of Men (2025), and Isolation Experiment (2026).

She is currently producing and starring in GRIDLOCK, marking her UK theatre debut.

GRIDLOCK

'Gridlock' is a one-act play about a couple at a crossroads. They are stuck in traffic - both literally and figuratively.

Premiering this innovative and exciting one-act theatre play about a couple at a crossroads.

As Alexa (Annika Foster) and Thomas (Gunnar Bjercke) wait for the traffic to subside, they start reminiscing on moments that shaped their relationship, ultimately trying to answer the questions: how did we get here and where are we going?

'Gridlock' is a gritty, honest, and heart-breaking look at what it means to love another person.
